Best Time to Visit Sasan Gir park is between December and March. That is the winter season and in this time Gir temperature is being around 20c and travel are very suitable during this time. Summers are hot and intolerable but are good for photography and wildlife viewing. Rainy season is unsuitable as animals are within shelters and no safari is possible. Thus the park shuts downs for Monsoon.

- The vehicle fee for safari is Rs 35, photography Rs 100 and 4 hours of guide service is Rs 50.
- If one is putting up in famed luxurious resorts like Vanvaso resort, Asiatic Lion lodge, Club Mahindra resort, charges may go up to INR 5000 per jeep safari with 6 persons in a jeep.
