Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Ahmedabad
Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you in transferring to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, you will start your exploration of Ahmedabad, the cultural and economic hub of Gujarat. You’ll visit the Sabarmati Ashram, a place closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi, and gain insights into his life and philosophy. Next, you’ll explore the exquisite architecture of the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque and Adalaj Stepwell, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship of the region. You’ll also have the opportunity to stroll through the vibrant markets and indulge in some local shopping. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 02: Ahmedabad – Lothal – Bhavnagar
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Lothal, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Indus Valley Civilization. Explore the well-preserved ruins and the museum to learn about the ancient trading culture of the region. Later, you’ll proceed towards Bhavnagar, a coastal city known for its maritime history. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Ghogha Beach and enjoy the serene sunset views. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 03: Bhavnagar – Palitana – Diu
Today, you’ll embark on an excursion to Palitana, famous for its stunning cluster of Jain temples atop the Shatrunjaya Hill. A climb of approximately 3,800 steps will reward you with breathtaking panoramic views and an awe-inspiring spiritual experience. After descending the hill, you’ll drive towards Diu, a tranquil coastal town with a blend of Portuguese and Indian influences. Check in to your Diu hotel and unwind. You can spend the evening exploring the Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Church, and relaxing on the beautiful Nagoa Beach. Overnight stay in Diu.
Day 04: Diu Sightseeing and Departure
Your last day in Gujarat begins with a visit to the serene Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, known for its rock-cut shiva lingas nestled by the sea. Next, explore the Naida Caves, a network of naturally formed caves with intricate rock formations. You’ll also have some free time for shopping or relaxing on the beach before checking out from your hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, you’ll be transferred to the Diu Airport or Railway Station, where you’ll bid farewell to the vibrant land of Gujarat, carrying with you wonderful memories of its culture, history, and natural beauty.
